Terms of Use
Effective: October 16, 2026
These terms set out the conditions for using the app “Yasashii Photo” (the “App”), provided by Kenichi Kasuya, an independent developer (the “Developer”). By using the App, you agree to these terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. What the App does
The App retouches the appearance of faces in your photos. It edits images only; it does not change anyone's actual skin, face or health, and it is not a medical or cosmetic service.
2. Your photos
Your photos and the retouched images remain yours. Use them at your own judgment and responsibility. Before retouching, saving or sharing a photo of another person, obtain that person's consent. You are responsible for any dispute with a third party arising from your use of images.
3. Rights in the App
The rights in the App, its design and bundled content belong to the Developer or the respective rights holders. Open-source components are used under their licenses (see Licenses).
4. Purchase
- The App is free to start, with up to 10 saves a day.
- The one-time purchase (no auto-renewal) removes the daily limit, removes the ad on the screen shown after saving, and enables batch retouch. The Papertime ad on the home screen remains after purchase.
- Payment is processed by Apple. The price is shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store.
- Use “Restore Purchase” with the same Apple Account after changing devices or reinstalling.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Minors should obtain a parent's or guardian's consent before purchasing.
5. Prohibited conduct
Using the App for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights (including portrait and privacy rights), to create content that deceives or defames others, to interfere with the App, or to reverse engineer it except where permitted by law.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided as is. Retouch results vary by photo. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the Developer's part, the Developer's liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages, up to the amount you paid for the App. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Changes and end of service
The App may change without notice. If it is discontinued, we will try to announce this in advance.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Chiba District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance, without limiting your right to use the courts and consumer protection laws that mandatorily apply where you live.
